At Pay Tel, we value your privacy and place the highest premium on the security of your personal information. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

We collect this information directly, from you, and indirectly by placing a “cookie” or keeping a “server log” on your computer to facilitate further, quicker, and better online service. A “cookie” is a small text file placed on your computer’s hard drive by a web server. The cookie transmits information back to the server that placed it, and can only be ready by that server.
We use the information you provide about yourself to open an account for you to use in paying for Pay Tel’s collect call phone service and only for that purpose. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to receive payment for phone services. We do disclose personal identifying information as required by law.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website. We do not use personal information (i.e., “identifying information”) for the purposes of website development. Furthermore, we do not use identifying nor non-identifying information for use in marketing to you or to disclose to third parties so that they can market to you.
We collect information about the computers, phones, connected TVs and other web-connected devices you use with our Products in order to provide a better experience when you use our Products.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
For privacy and security of personal information, Pay Tel requires each customer to create their own six-digit Personal Identification Number or PIN. For a customer to access his account to make a payment, check the account balance, review account information or request a refund, the customer must provide the correct PIN.
Anyone requesting information regarding your account will be refused if they cannot provide the correct PIN.
We use secure servers in storing your personal information, to facilitate set up of a Pay Tel account to pay for collect call service.
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 18, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 18.
If you are a customer who is under 18, then we must obtain parental consent before you can provide information necessary to establish an account with Pay Tel. Pay Tel requires either a verified email, written consent, fax, or telephone conversation from your parent/parents/legal guardian(s) to meet federal regulatory guidelines for “parental consent.”
You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by logging in on our website, click on Customer Login and enter your ten-digit phone number and six-digit Personal Identification Number of PIN. On My Account page, click on Edit My Account to review your information. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.
You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by contacting us by telephone or by sending us a written request for such correction with supporting information that credibly shows error. To protect your privacy and security, we will require you to provide your six-digit PIN to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
